Ok, my New Mexico post didn't solicit any feedback but I can't help myself. I have to post a few pics from my obsession with the doors of the
Taos Pueblo. From the website:
Taos Pueblo is the only living Native American community designated both
a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and a National Historic Landmark. The
multi-storied adobe buildings have been continuously inhabited for over
1000 years.
Gottta go there... Just inspiring.

ReplyDeleteDev ... I loved travelling down there on my own in my van years ago. If it didn't rain so much here I would live in an adobe building or down under the earth in a kiva. Of course the hot sun on the plaster is the real key to the experience!
