We are really learning a lot by reading about other family adventures. Our dream destinations are being combined with our level of comfort when travelling with our children. We want to get the most out of our trip by taking time to travel at a pace that is best for all of us. We believe that our children benefit from the belief that the world is a good and beautiful place. When they get older that will be the time for them to travel and unleash their need for social justice, but this isn't the time. That being said we are open to wherever our path leads, but we don't believe in going out of our way to show them things that are difficult for adults to process.
The main reasons for doing this now are:
- More time together just the four of us while our kids are still kids
- Learn and see new things together
- Foster our children's individual interests and passions
- Make the most out of this time in our lives
- Break up what has become a routine and get outside our comfort zones
- See the world with our children
