london calling

We have decided our direction and our first stop will be London! A chance to visit with a dear friend (and sleep for free!) and do things from a kid perspective. I was in London a year ago and all my photos show that I was already thinking of things that are kid-friendly and free - like bridges. The one thing on our list is Stonehenge.

winter warmth

We use a lot of wood to heat our house in the winter. It's been interesting watching our pile decrease knowing that next year, we won't need any of this. There are starting to be a number of things that we realize is our last and won't need to be replaced. I went shopping with friends on the weekend and only spent a few dollars because I don't need anything that I can't fit into a backpack!
