We started the 7th birthday festivities the night before by choosing a cake and stopping by a candy emporium for a candy splurge! Buddy and Girl were overwhelmed by the choices and thrilled to be in the store. They each chose ten pieces of candy. A forever memory for them and only a few euros for us.
The next day (her actual birthday) we decided to head to the waterpark a few
cities away on the train, even though it was a Saturday and we knew it
would be busy. When we arrived at the gate we were concerned. After the six hours of water fun, we headed home for a cake break.
Then it was off to tapas, followed by a wander around the city which led to a few random birthday surprises including a balloon gifting, a glass marble from a fairy princess mime and a wedding to watch.
Only 10 pieces of candy? p.s. Love the cake photo
ReplyDeleteThey were so overwhelmed - the classic too much choice to decide, that we had to limit them. We ended up going with 15 each in the end. It was hilarious trying to help them decide amongst 100's of kinds of candy!
Deleteawesome! xo
